Board of Directors Orlando Lobo, Director, President: A Sausalito resident and father of three young children, Mr. Lobo is managing partner of Harrison Holdings LLC, an investment advisory and commercial development concern. He brings to the Board some 28 years of business management experience gained from working on three major continents as an investment banker and portfolio manager.
William J. Ziegler, Vice President: Mr. Ziegler is a resident of Sausalito and a Partner in the law firm of Seiler Epstein Ziegler & Applegate. He has served as a mediator and arbitrator for the Marin County Superior Court and was formerly Managing Partner of Berg Ziegler Anderson & Parker. A member of the State Bar of California, he was an instructor for the Great Books Program at the University of Notre Dame and a lecturer in the Philosophy Department at the University of San Francisco. Mr. Ziegler formerly served as a Member of the Sausalito Planning Commission, Member of the Sausalito City Council and Mayor of Sausalito from 1996-1997. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the School of Veterinary Medicine at U.C. Davis.
Mr. Ziegler attained a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy) from Rockhurst College, a Master of Arts (Philosophy) from the University of Notre Dame, a Bachelor of Law from Yale University and a Ph.D. (Philosophy) from the University of Notre Dame.
Bruce O. Huff, Secretary: Bruce Huff is Managing Partner of The Kimber Companies, a Sausalito headquartered firm specializing in commercial property development and leasing. Mr. Huff is formerly the Vice President of the Sausalito Marin City Board of Education and is currently President of the Bay Model Association, a public benefit corporation promoting environmental education in primary schools. Mr. Huff attended Rutgers University from 1968 - 1972. He was President of Mohawk Group, Inc., a New Jersey based real estate development and brokerage firm until relocating to California in 1981.
Mr. Huff lives in Novato, California with his wife and son. Mr. Huff is a co-founder of Willow Creek Academy. In addition, he serves on several boards in Sausalito, including the Sausalito Business Advisory Board, and is Chair of the Sausalito Waterfront Property Owner's Committee.
Clark Warden, Director & Treasurer: A resident of Sausalito dince 1980, Mr. Warden is Chairman of Pacific Vision Foundation (a $17 million endowment supporting the Department of Ophthalmology at California Pacific Medical Center), a Life Governor of the San Francisco Symphony, and a former member of the Fiscal Advisory Committee to the Mayor (San Francisco). Mr. Warden is a retired financial executive, having served in senior executive positions at Sumitomo Bank of California, Union Bank, and Prudential Insurance Company. Mr. Warden is Chair of the Fiscal Advisory Committee for Willow Creek Academy.
Mr. Warden completed undergraduate work at Iowa State University in 1960 and obtained an MBA from Wharton Graduate School, University of Pennsylvania.
Doug Lloyd, Director: Doug holds an MBA and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker. He has over 40 years of business, computer and real estate consulting experience. Following a career in computer systems at IBM and management consulting with Touche Ross & Co., Doug has been active in real estate since 1974. During this time he has been involved in many aspects of real estate including brokerage of investment properties, tax-deferred exchanges, commercial and residential development, leasing, property management, equity sharing, and the financing of both commercial and residential properties. In 1980 Doug co-founded Independent Exchange Services, Inc., a Qualified Intermediary for Section 1031 exchanges of investment real estate. In 1993 he co-founded The Right Move Group, a corporate relocation company, and has served as Principal responsible for brokerage and administration since that time. Doug also co-founded Inheritance Funding Company, Inc., a financial services company providing cash advances to heirs inheriting through probate, and he continues to function as President of that company.
Tom Sweet, Director: Mr. Sweet is a parent of a Willow Creek Academy student, he is on the Facility Committee which has successfully redesigned and repainted our school parking lot to ensure our children get in and out of school safely. They are currently working on a Playground Structure. Mr. Sweet has 20 years experience in land development and environmental engineering. He currently performs project management and design duties on a variety of projects. This includes responsibility for planning, design, permitting and governmental approvals for private and public sector infrastructure and environmental projects.
Kathy Pearson, Director: Kathy Pearson’s entire professional career has been in education. After graduating from the University of Washington, she taught two years with the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone, West Africa. She taught grades 3, 4, and 5 (self-contained and GATE classes) in Philadelphia, Hayward, and Richmond (West Contra Costa) School Districts. Her experience also includes teaching beginning Spanish and French to Middle School students in San Marino, Tiburon and East Bay schools. She retired from full time teaching in June 2003. Ms. Pearson resides in Belvedere and has been a resident of Marin County since 1969. Her husband, John, is a retired executive search consultant who has been active in Belvedere City politics.
Andrew Boyd-Goodrich, Director: Andrew is the Associate Executive Director at the YMCA Point Bonita Outdoor & Conference Center in the Marin Headlands. His responsibilities include community outreach, operations, and financial development at the YMCA Point Bonita. Andrew is a Senior Director with the YMCA, and a member of the Association for YMCA Professionals.
Through funding from local foundations, Andrew has been instrumental in an ongoing environmental education program to the students of Willow Creek Academy. His partners in the YMCA also provide Physical Education and after-school enrichment for the students.
Andrew graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts from University of California at Santa Cruz, where he also met his wife. He and his wife live locally with their two boys, one of whom attends Willow Creek Academy. A proud recipient of an outstanding public education here in California, Andrew is committed to ensuring that quality public education is available to residents of 94965.
Deborah Osburn, Director: Deborah resides in Sausalito and is a parent of two thriving Willow Creek Academy students. Deborah has many years experience in executive business management and oversight. She is active within the WCA Parent Council and continues to support all efforts to grow and maintain a public school system that is committed to the children of our community.
