Just because this year's third grade class is small (only 12 students), it doesn't mean big things aren't happening. This year third graders are using a new reading program called "Great Books," which inspires students to ask meaningful questions and discuss the answers with their classmates. So far, we have read 4 stories, and each discussion has been insightful!

 

Third graders have also been on two field trips, one to the Botanical Gardens at Golden Gate Park, and one to the Asian Art Museum. We are excitied about our upcoming field trips to Richardson Bay Audubon Society and Slide Ranch in November.
