Parent Hours projects

Willow Creek welcomes community members as well as parents to volunteer at the school. We need continued assistance in the following areas and it is a great way to work off some of those Parent Hours!

• Contact your head room parent or approach your child's teacher. Teachers often have projects they need help with. Some can be done at home. Don't be shy

• Join a Committee! It's never too late to join. If you re not familiar with the committees read below and or check out the parent handbook.

• LaTanya can always use help in the school office with filing, making binders etc.

• The two refrigerators need cleaning occasionally.

• The lost and found clothes need washing.

• The slipcover for the small couch in the office needs to be modified so it fits better and stays on.

• We have some computer equipment that needs to be taken to the Chamber of Commerce office for recycling as well as paint cans that need to be taken to the recycling center in San Rafael.

• Ms. Jackson, our Art teacher can use help with sorting pencils, markers and crayons, with cleaning paint palets, sharpening pencils, scrubbing sinks etc.. So it when you can, some of it can be done at home. Contact: Becky Jackson 577-6338.

• Our school garden always needs weeding, especially on the paths. Just pop in there and get to work whenever you can.
