Parent Hours projects

Willow Creek welcomes community members as well as parents to volunteer at the school. We need continued assistance in the following areas and it is a great way to work off some of those Parent Hours!

• Contact your room parent or approach your child's teacher. Teachers often have projects they need help with. Some can be done at home. Don't be shy

• Join a Committee! It's never too late to join. If you re not familiar with the committees read below and or check out the parent handbook.

• The school office staff can always use help with filing, making binders etc.

• The two refrigerators need cleaning occasionally.

• The lost and found clothes need washing and a trip to Good Will or other organization which can take advantage of used clothing

• We have some computer equipment as well as paint cans that need to be taken to the recycling center in San Rafael.

• We can always use help at lunch time.  Serving lunch to students is a daily event; in addition, playing games with students at recess is always appreciated.  Are you a basket ball afficionado or a jump rope expert?  We want adults who will encourage our students to move, move and move some more.

• Our school garden always needs weeding, especially on the paths. Just pop in there and get to work whenever you can.
