Sebastian Ferrando, Vice President
(Board Term 2018-2021)
Sebastian joined the Foundation Board in 2015. Currently a Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank, he combines his professional experience in finance, banking and wealth management with his extensive prior volunteer work (Salvation Army in Australia and in the US, San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, GE Volunteers, Bank of American Associate Advisory Board and 16 years working with Big Brothers and Big Sisters – 4 years in Australia and 12 here in the Bay Area), to help in connecting the Willow Creek Foundation with local donors as well as with new parents.
Sebastian is a native of Australia and moved to the Bay Area with his wife in 2004. They live in Sausalito with their two daughters who both go to WCA, and they were previously Bayside-MLK parents too. Sebastian has an undergraduate degree in economics and finance from the University of New South Wales, and a graduate degree in accounting and financial management from Charles Sturt University.Alex Kinnebrew, Secretary

Alex Kinnebrew joined the Foundation Board in 2017.
Barbara Jaffe, Treasurer
(Board Term 2019-2022)
Barbara joined the Foundation Board in 2016 and currently occupies the role of Treasurer. In support of the 2016 and 2017 annual benefit events, she proved an invaluable leader of the procurement team which directly led to the events' resounding success. In addition to her current roles, Barbara is also leading the business sponsorship initiative for the Foundation and the annual benefit.Alicia Leach

Alicia Leach joined the Foundation Board in 2013 and has two children attending Willow Creek Academy. She would like to inspire residents and businesses in our district to give generously so that Willow Creek Academy students may always have the opportunity to engage in Art, Spanish, PE, Nutritional and Gardening Programs, Music and much more. A good part of her career has been dedicated to transforming enterprises to interact with their customers in entirely new ways … effectively becoming “Customer Companies”. She wishes to apply her skills to help Marin City and Sausalito become a community committed to excellence in education.
Jennifer Conway
(Board Term 2017-2020)
Jennifer joined the Foundation Board in 2017 and is a Willow Creek Academy Parent and Co-President of the WCA Parent Council. Her enthusiasm for continuing to develop Willow Creek Academy and our capabilities to provide a great education for the students in Sausalito and Marin City has her involved with many different groups across the community. She is the liaison between the Willow Creek Foundation and the Parent Council overseeing the budget that goes to fund important community building activities as well as school branding, teacher appreciation, and other special initiatives throughout the year. Jennifer has a background in marketing and will bring those skills to contributing to the fundraising activities for Willow Creek Academy throughout the year.
Jim Henry
(Board Term 2018-2021)
Jim Henry has lived in Sausalito since 2011 and joined the Willow Creek board as Treasurer in 2014. He and his spouse have two adult children and two young grandchildren. Jim is a CPA and partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), and currently serves as Managing Partner for the firm in San Francisco. During his 36 year career, he has held numerous leadership and client roles with PwC and has held non-profit board positions with INROADS, Larkin Street Youth Services, UCSF’s Global Health Group, and many other organizations. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University, and has completed executive education programs at the Center for Creative Leadership, Stanford’s Rock School of Law on Board Governance and UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.
Sarah Alyward
(Board Term 2019-2022)
Sarah joined the Foundation Board in 2019 and has two children currently enrolled at WCA. She has a professional background in event planning and is passionate about organizing and executing events that both raise money and build community for WCA. She chaired the 2018 and 2020 Spring Fundraiser(s) and in 2018 she launched the very popular and financially successful School-Wide Fun Run. Sarah also wrote and taught curriculum for the K-2nd cooking and nutrition classes and was very involved in the launch of the Conscious Kitchen lunch program. Sarah is inspired by the amazing staff and students every time she steps foot on the Willow Creek Campus and hopes to continue her involvement for years to come.
Aisha Stephenson
(Board Term 2019-2022)
Aisha joined the Foundation Board in 2019. She is passionate about building people operations and talent management programs that provide a valuable employee experience (compensation, HRIS, recruiting, L&D, rewards/recognition, performance management, succession planning, high potential, compliance, admin/office operations) across the technology and nonprofit sectors. Throughout her career, she has served as an advocate for both employees and employers in the effort - to recruit, engage and motivate top talent and create a compelling employee value proposition - to develop innovative and collaborative working environments with a high-performance culture - to act as a strategic partner with leadership in implementing people initiatives aligned with business objectives to support overall company growth and success at scale.
Claudine Alameda
(Board Term 2020 - 2023)
Claudine joined the Foundation Board in 2020. She has two daughters attending Willow Creek Academy and has been a resident of Sausalito for 15 years. Claudine has worked in Software for over 22 years in various roles and sectors, presently as Program Director for the Federal Technologies group at Change Healthcare. She holds a BA from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA from Monterey Institute of International Studies. Claudine started assisting the Foundation as a committee member, helping to secure donations for the Spring Benefit. Whetting her whistle there, she decided to come aboard and use her skill set to focus on grants and Unification activities. Through active fundraising, she wholeheartedly supports the vision for excellence in education for all students of 94965.
